Four Generations (maryland family photographer)

Back in February, I took pictures of my friend, her husband and their new baby. You can see that session here. I knew my friend had a grandmother that was 101 and I was determined to do a session with all four generations of women – Great-Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother and baby. Enter – Nana. She’s 101 and just as feisty as can be. She’s colorful. She’s clever. She tells a great story and she’s just about my favorite person ever.

After the session, we all visited and had tea and brownies. I was so happy my two girls got to meet this amazing family. What a treat. That’s what this session was: a treat. A gift. Something I’ll never forget. Thank you, Nana.
