5-Minute Fridays | A girl and a horse

This is the closest I’ve come to a “styled shoot.” I had a vision of Finley on a horse with a crown of flowers and white dress looking dreamy and lovely. Being that she rides horses, she was totally up for it. My niece made the flower crown. I found the dress at Marshall’s (clearance!) And then I just needed the horse. I enlisted Parker, the beautiful horse owned by my dear friend’s mother. We drove out to Persimmon Tree Farm in Westminster on a foggy Sunday morning. The grounds were just gorgeous and I was ecstatic when I saw the weeping willow right outside Parker’s barn door. It was the perfect little spot to snap some pics. Parker like to walk away with Finley on him whenever his owner let go of the reins so we had a few giggles. But he was such a good boy. I love these photos. They’re exactly what I was hoping for. It shows Finley’s connection with horses, her love for them and my love for her. Thanks for looking!!! xoxo2013-10-06_0001
