Just like a high school graduation, graduating from college is a huge milestone in anyone’s life. You just spent four (or five!) years of your life learning everything you can, pulling all-nighters, making lifelong friends and preparing for your future. Your campus was your home during that time and there are memories in every corner. So whether you find a local photographer near your school or hire me to take your local college grad photos, here are some tips and inspiration for making your college grad session as memorable as your time in school!
- Make a list of your favorite places on and off campus as possible locations for your shoot.
- Choose a day and time that’s less busy so the spaces you want to shoot in aren’t so crowded.
- Consider whatever you wear under your gown to be a second outfit.
- Make sure your hair is “cap ready” and can handle the cap being put on and off.
- Iron the wrinkles out of your gown!
- Wear comfortable shoes for walking across campus and save the heels for pictures.
